You are driving along a beautiful country road, the sun is shining, the air is fresh, everything is perfect. You are in the company of everyone you hold dearest to your heart. All of a sudden, your car gets hit by an oncoming train.
Everyone survives the crash, but then, the car burst into flames! You try desperately to free yourself. All of those you care for are trapped. Time is ticking and you know that if you do not act now, they will ALL die!
You manage to free all but one. You feel helpless, confused and angry! No matter how hard you try to free the last member, nothing you could possibly do is helping! The more you tugged, the more it hurt, as the flames slowly burned your skin! You cannot feel the tips of your fingers, as they are all gone!
You then turn to your surviving loved ones and asked for their help! But they too fell helpless, as the flames consumed the entire car! The only thing you could do is step back, accept things as they are and know it in your heart that the one you loved, and could not save, is safe in God’s hands.
Now imagine, having to live with this decision - to have stepped back, knowing deep down that you tried everything to free the last member! Everyone now shuns you, puts you down! People, who weren’t even there to see how hard you tried, are telling you: "You could have done more! Why didn’t you do more?" "I would have done this!" or "I would have tried that!"
Imagine...
Everyone assumes they could have done better! But the reality is, no one knows what they would do, until they themselves are faced with such a cruel life changing experience!
